Trade Centre · Baku
The largest and most affordable market in the South Caucasus: endless rows of buildings in a valley by the Baku Ring Road, where goods flow in from five countries.
What it is
Sederek is not a shop or a single pavilion but a whole trading city: dozens of long buildings with multicoloured roofs stretch across a valley between hills on the south-western outskirts of Baku. People come here both for wholesale and for a single purchase.
The market is called the largest and cheapest trade centre in the Caucasus. Thousands of people and hundreds of trucks pass through it every day; for traders from Georgia and Russia, Sederek has long been the region's main gateway for goods.
